Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, newly renovated villa with modern yet comfortable furnishings. 

This lovely villa overlooks the clear waters of the Bioluminescent Bay in the idyllic Rum Point and Cayman Kai community. This location is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach and offers enchanting vistas, secluded beaches, and numerous amenities. 

The ground floor features an open-concept design that allows the living and dining areas to flow into one. The fully equipped kitchen houses stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge. The true focal point of the home is the spacious two-story screened lanai facing the turquoise sea that offers additional lounge seating and alfresco dining.

A large swimming pool with sundeck is located on the water for guests of the complex to enjoy! For adventure seekers, Seaside Dreams offers two tandem kayaks and two bicycles complimentary with your stay.

Beach Notes

The Island Houses enjoy a smooth sandy beach with no rocks. These 9 clusters of 2 villas are staggered along the water's edge at the top of the Cayman Kai Cove...with quiet shallow water, a shared freshwater pool and dock for our guests to use for kayaking or for private charter collection. The water here is shallow with a soft bottom and not really suitable for snorkeling or swimming when the best water is directly across the street at the famous Rum Point Club (open to the public).

The surrounding area offers a wide variety of activities with the Rum Point Beach Club located within 200 yards. Rum Point offers a spectacular white sandy beach with vibrant snorkeling, plus shady hammock spots, watersports, two restaurants and a beach bar. Chaises are plentiful and first-come, first-served.

The big draw to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many water sports, a restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop and pick-up beach volleyball games. 

It's from the Rum Point pier that the Red Sail Cayman's 65’ catamaran departs to stingray sandbar for snorkeling trips. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina. Just a great neighborhood dotted with million-dollar oceanfront villas.

Hop on the Cayman ferry at the Kaibo Marina, and sail across the North Sound to Camana Bay for a day trip of shopping, dining, and much, much more. There's also easy access from Camana Bay to Seven Mile Beach and all the restaurants, bars and activities in the area.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around mother nature.

Seaside Dreams was a lovely place for our family of four to spend our first post-COVID vacation. The property is well-equipped, very clean, and has lovely views of the lagoon out the back door. Silver Thatch rentals are great to work with--we had kayaks, bicycles, and the option to charter a snorkeling trip and Stingray City visit, which we would highly recommend. The management was very responsive and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better stay. Depending on your arrival time, you might want to take advantage of a grocery delivery service (book well in advance), so that you have something in the refrigerator. We found a great local store nearby (Chisolm\'s Grocery) that we used, but the delivery at least for the first day, would\'ve been convenient. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a private, relaxing family vacation.

Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, modern, clean condo with all the conveniences of home. We made use of the kayaks on the lovely lagoon, and enjoyed the restaurants in the Rum Point/ North Side area. Silver Thatch is a great management company. Highly recommend them. Also recommend the charters for snorkeling and visiting the stingrays. Great experience! Be advised that you are a 45-50 minute drive from many tourist attractions, but you are also in a quiet, very local area that gives you a feel for the community and culture. Really enjoyed our trip.

This house was in a group around a small bay. The grounds were kept beautifully, raked and trimmed regularly. The house is also updated and well kept. We stayed for 6 weeks, everything we needed for cooking etc was in place…in fact, the best supplied of any rental we have done. The furniture was quite comfortable and attractive. The large screened in 2 story lanai was stunning, and we ate every meal out there on the large dining table. We pretty much lived on the lanai, comfortable with fans on hot buggy days; on windy or not so nice days we enjoyed the chaises and chairs. This group of privately owned homes is extremely well run. The manager of the house was very responsive. A hole in the screen was fixed the day we reported it. Some of the houses are rented, some are owner occupied by welcoming and friendly people. A small pool area was well kept and convenient. Because Rum Point was closed due to pandemic there were limited dining options…Kaibo Beach was nice and close. However, we did drive to a number of very good restaurants. We love to snorkel, and the Rum Point beaches were of course open and terrific with coral gardens and fish. It is a very short walk across the street. We particularly enjoyed Smith Cove and Eden Rock for snorkeling, although they are 40 minute drive. While we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of the Cayman Kai area, it entails a lot of driving if you are staying a longer time and interested in seeing more places. Supermarkets are very good, but again, a half hour or more drive. There is a small local food store. If you arrive on a weekend, stores/markets are closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly. The island itself is lush and gorgeous, beautiful houses, excellent roads. The residents and service providers were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely return!

This property was great for our family of 4 (including children 9 and 5). Our kids enjoyed finding shells and crabs on the beach on the bay, the moonless bioluminescent kayak trips were such a wonder, and the closeness to Rum Point was great for our trip. The property was well equipped, clean, and as great as it looks in the pictures.

The townhouse was exactly as advertised- pictures are spot on. Beautiful modern decor, well furnished and appointed (inside - well stock kitchen and great linens and out- kayaks, bikegrill, chairs, and other other toys). The setting on a beach on the incredible bioluminescent bay. My kids spent hours playing on the sand or kayaking out at night to see the bioluminescence (truly remarkable). We have our own beach house back in the states, so our standards are very high. Seasides Dreams did not disappoint, We will definitely be back!

  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

We're committed to the health and safety of all our guests and have adopted enhanced cleaning safeguards to suppress the spread of COVID-19. 

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island
