We have traveled throughout the Caribbean over the years and Sea Cove compares well with all of the places we have stayed. The home was large and comfortable with plenty of space for 4 adults ( 2 couples) that try to travel to a new place every year. We think we liked the island and location of Sea Cove so much that we will make a return trip before exploring other places. The people are friendly and the restaurants and local bars are wonderful. The island is small enough to explore easily. We were concerned about driving on the left hand side, but that proved to be a non-event as most of the island is a 2 lane road. Speed limits are posted in MPH - which took us a couple days to figure out... So many nice restaurants around on the quiet side of the island away from the crowds . We tried Tukka, The Italian Kitchen, Rum Point, Kaibo and several small local spots. Food was wonderful everywhere, but we especially enjoyed Tukka! Hope this helps you plan. Not sure why there are not more reviews, but we sure loved Sea Cove and recommend this home to anyone!!!

We just returned from our annual summer vacation. While this is our first trip to Grand Cayman, it will not be our last. Coming from North Carolina, we had a direct flight from Charlotte and the rest of the trip went off without a hitch. We worried about driving on the left, but that was very easy, especially once we were out of town. The area where the home is located is private and residential with no traffic. This was a well thought out development on this part of the island. The home was fantastic. Plenty of room for a family of 6 with the converted third bedroom. Even still we never felt cramped at all. I would recommend this home to any family of 6! The location of the home is excellent. The sunset views are inspiring! The bio cove the home is on is quiet and people kayak at night with bioluminescent GLOWING micro organisms. Trips to Stingray City are a must. Mudslide drinks at Rum Point and Kaibo are wonderful!Cant say enough good things. Now back to work so we can plan another trip to Sea Cove next year!!!!

This is our second time at Sea Cove and there will be a third! We just love the location. We are water sports nuts and enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, water sports rentals at Rum Point, trips to Stingray City, long quiet walks, Rest and relaxation away from a hectic work schedule. We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cove. Our family of 5 loved the home, the beach, the fantastic views, the proximity to Rum Point, Starfish Point and the Kaibo (all walking distances). We also took a private trit with White Sand Water Sports to Stingray City Sandbar - an absolute must trip!!! The managers were attentive to all questions during the booking process and we had no issues while we were here, but the manager still checked in on us. The Silver Thatch discount card really saved us money. Usually those things are smoke and mirrors, but not this card. Rum Point and White Sand both offered us discounts!!!! We will be back! Wonderful Family Time

We had a great family time vacation with our children at Sea Cove. The 3 kids loved the cove and walking to Rum Point to play with other children. The area was safe enough for the kids to walk there by themselves, although we were just a few minutes behind them. Kayaking in the cove was wonderful. We saw some people with paddle boards - that looked like fun and we will try that next time. The home was well kept and clean. We only spoke with the manager one time when we asked about the drinking water, safe by the way, but she could not have been more friendly and actually told us several things to do, including the Crystal Caves that our kids loved! Scott and Jim were wonderful to work with every step of the way. We will rent from them again and either come back here or to one of their other properties. 5 S T A R !!!!

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Grand Cayman and a wonderful stay at Sea Cove. The home was everything we wanted and more. The large living area was open and inviting. The furniture was comfortable and the bedrs were nice and firm. The Cayman Ki area is a wonderful family atmosphere and you can walk to two very nice dinner restaurants, bars, lunch areas, water sports, trips to stingray city, etc. The management company also recommended starfish point which we walked to a couple times and highly recommend. Thank you GCV for all of your help in planning. we will be back one day and hopefully stay here again!!!

Wonderful Villa! Perfect Location!

Our week in the Cayman was pretty much perfect and the biggest contributing factor was staying at Sea Cove. Location of the house is perfect. The views are incredible. The back deck and private beach are fantastic. The staff was wonderful. We had a little bit of an issue with one air conditioning unit when we first arrived and we called the house manager and it was immediately taken care of. She also checked in later on in the week just to make sure everything was going well. We rented a kayak and paddle boards that we could just walk right outside our house and use. The bioluminescent Bay is right there as is rum point beach and departure points for alot of the tours such as Stingray City. We worried a little bit about being so far from Seven Mile Beach but we were truly glad we chose to stay on the North Shore. It was so much more relaxing and not so touristy. The drive to Seven Mile is not bad at all so when you wanted to go down and go shopping or visit other beaches you could do that. Everything on the Caymans is pretty close so it was wonderful to have a little piece of heaven up on the North Shore. We will definitely rent this house again if we return to the Caymans again!

There were 4 of us - 2 couples - and the house was great! There were many activities near the house and the 7 mile area is only a drive away. The beach was great, very secluded!

Beach Description

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east; so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The cove-front homes in “Cayman Kai” (within Rum Point) offer calm serene water for docking a rental boat, permitting charter captain pick-up or just safe shallow water for little children. Adults won’t swim in the cove (rum point is too nice by comparison) —the water is shallow and has a softer bottom and there is no reef here for fish life...but we do see the occasional turtle, eagle ray or tarpon swim by in the shallows! The beaches are flat white barefoot sand. There is usually little breeze here to speak of. Many homes in Cayman Kai offer a screened porch. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the “Rum Point Club”; a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach…many watersports, a restaurant, bar, grill, gift shop and pick-up beach volleyball games. It is from the Rum Point pier that the www.redsailcayman.com 65’ catamaran departs to stingray sandbar for snorkeling trips. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina (www.kaibo.ky). Just a great neighborhood dotted with million-dollar oceanfront villas. Click our map on the home page. Lastly…about 20 minutes east we have (2) large resorts in the east end (www.morritts.com and www.thereef.com ) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, SUBWAY sandwich shop (and even a coffee/pastry shop). These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfers, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar service. www.tortugadivers.com and www.whitesandwatersports.com offer snorkeling tours, paddle boards, jet skis, etc.
