Welcome to Pools of the Kai #3! This home has been thoughtfully renovated and redecorated. These unique villas bring the outdoors in with 18 feet of sliding glass doors. 

Walk barefoot to the Kaibo Yacht Club or drive 5 minutes to Rum Point for drinks and dinner, or take a kayak tour of Starfish Point and Bio-Bay. Staying at the Pools of the Kai puts you central to the best Cayman Kai has to offer.

New furniture, finishes, countertops, and modern appliances give Pools #3 a bright sunny feel.

The living area features sliding glass doors that open to a screened pool atrium complete with patio furniture and loungers. Soak in your own private pool and enjoy the stunning ocean views from the comfort of your home away from home. Optional pool heating is available year-round for a daily surcharge of $25.

For work from home professionals, the home's upgraded fiber internet connection can handle multiple users and streaming devices at once. Work or learn remotely from one of the Caribbean's safest destinations.

Beach Notes

The white sand beach behind the Pools of the Kai units is pure, barefoot beach sand. One can easily walk 120 yards to the Kaibo Yacht Club for drinks, meals and watersports, as well as charter boat pick-up. This quiet area faces south so in winter months a cold front may bring winds from the north or east, the Pools of the Kai tend to be quite calm.

Facing the sound, the ocean water behind the Pools of the Kai is clear and calm. There are no reefs here teeming with marine life, nor is the sea bottom sandy. All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically open to the public. For a barefoot beach swimming experience we recommend walking across the street to the "Gardens of the Kai"or head over to Rum Point (2 minute drive, 10 minute walk). Not only is the beach there swimmable, the Rum Point Club also offers a bar, grill, lounge chaises and a diverse water sports menu to keep you active.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with sitting on your lounge chair at Pools #3 and watching the sun sink in the west with your toes in the sand and a beverage in your hand!

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around mother nature.

We had a very relaxing vacation at pools of Kai 3. Located on the quiet part of the island right next to starfish, it was absolutely perfect. Everything as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay right on the ocean. We grilled and cooked in most nights and watched the sunset in the outdoor screened patio. Highly recommend this condo! The view waking up from the second floor bedroom was outstanding. Can’t say enough positive!

This unit was everything we wanted—clean, seemless living from indoor to outdoor, and a quiet, private getaway. We loved it. Enjoyed walking to Kaibo marina for drinks and snorkeling off Rum Point! By the way, there were far more starfish on our private beach than at starfish point!!

Pools of the Kai #3 was clean and so comfortable. It had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing vacation. I particularly love how the living space so seamlessly flows from inside to outside, the pool was wonderful for cooling off and the beach was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed walking the area, enjoyed the Kaibo Yacht Club and Bioluminescence Bay. It’s a bit removed from everything else on the island, which we liked, once the ferry is back up and running and Rum Point opens back up again, there should be many more options for things to do.

We reserved Pools of the Kai #3 after a visit to Cayman Islands staying in another location. This property is top notch in so many ways - location - condition - service and wonderful unit. We enjoyed the layout of the villa - was in wonderful condition and well equipped. The location is ideal - you can enjoy the surrounding area but still have a quiet and private villa. We enjoyed the beach, private pool and constant attention by the crew. We will definitely be returning. The covid process was a bit cumbersome and time consuming but understandable and hopefully will be a thing of the past soon. The management team was very helpful during that process. We ate at several close restaurants - Yacht Club and Italian Restaurant. Grocery stores are also convenient. We will definitely be back!

Pools of the Kai #3 was a perfect facility for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was an unexpected delight. We knew it was going to be there but had no idea how pleasant it was to cool off during the day. The outdoor patio with umbrella was a wonderful place to enjoy Kai from a comfortable lounge chair. We have already reserved it for next year and will be our "goto" vacation location. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon - that was the only complication we encountered with the entry logistics.

Stay in a slice of paradise for some true relaxation and island life! We loved staying here and being able to walk out onto our own beach every morning for coffee. We also loved walking to Kaibo bar and grill for the yummy drinks and food and super friendly staff! We rented a car and didn\'t mind the 30-60 min drive to other parts of the island when we felt like exploring. It was great to come back to a quieter space. The place was well outfitted for beach and pool, as well as functional kitchen and cooking. Coffee machine is a Keurig but there\'s a regular drip machine also in a cabinet. Walking distance to Starfish point which our daughter loved. Unit has its own kayak for use. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This place is as listed…spectacular! Out on the north side of the island walking distance to Starfish Point (my favorite beach on island) and a couple minute drive to Rum Point. The view from Kaibo beach and ocean from the house just waking up every morning was beautiful! You can literally watch sunrise from your room while still in bed. Condo was super clean and had everything from potable beach chairs to a Weber charcoal grill to cook out on the beach so hit the grocery stores. I had the pool heated…worth every penny for night time swimming! The welcome center provides you with beach coolers and snorkeling gear. Can’t say enough good about this place. Very relaxing vacation! Side note: Stingray City is a must! Did a great job, had an excellent vacation. Scott put my mind at ease about going during this turbulent time of testing for Covid. I’m glad he did because it was worth it.

One of the nicest properties we've ever stayed at. It met our expectations as website photos were accurate. The condition & cleanliness of this property was very good. Kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances & utensils. Having the kitchen opening into the space of the screened in atrium with the pool was wonderful. King bed downstairs was very comfortable. Other than some fleeting noise from pleasure craft on weekends, it was peacefully quiet, especially at night. Privacy was great - we rarely saw anyone! We used the nearby Liquor 4 Less & Chisholms grocery store was great for small buys. Grand Cayman Villas was informative, provided a very good service & were quick to respond to questions or issues. We enjoyed a lovely stay at Pools of the Kai #3 & would definitely recommend it. Following info FYI only.... Silver Thatch friendly & helpful.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and the service was above and beyond. The location was also perfect. Right on the beach, quiet and much more private than the busy part of the island. If you are looking for a special place to stay outside of the busy touristy areas, this condo is for you!

Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Unit was exactly as advertised. Checkin was a breeze. Unit was well stocked and well maintained. Property manager was super responsive when a/c wasn\'t working upon arrival. Unit was fixed (new batteries in thermostat) in hardly any time. I would highly recommend this unit and rental company - first class all the way! The location, unit, view, and overall experience were all spectacular. We\'ll be back. One recommendation for visitors. There\'s a large Foster\'s super market that you drive by as you leave the airport. I would suggest stopping there as the grocery selection at the store nearest the unit was limited.

  • Unoccupied bedrooms will be locked off for the duration of your stay.

Occupancy Discounts are automatically applied against the full base rent when entering your dates and number of guests.  

Booking Rules

  • 4 nights minimum stay required.
  • 5 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

We're committed to the health and safety of all our guests and have adopted enhanced cleaning safeguards to suppress the spread of COVID-19. 

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
