Looking for Love on FBoy Island

HBO Max's FBoy Island Filmed in Grand Cayman
One of our vacation villas has a surprise cameo in HBOMax’s FBoy Island.

The summer’s hottest dating reality series, FBoy Island, continues with three new episodes released this week, exclusively on the HBOMax streaming app. And, if you like The Bachelor in Paradise, Love Island, or trash TV in general—don’t pretend you don’t!—you won’t want to miss a second of FBoy Island.

Shot entirely on Grand Cayman, the show follows three women—CJ, Sarah, and Nakia—as they navigate a pool of eligible men in their quest to find enduring love amid a tropical paradise.

Ready for the twist? Half of the men are genuinely looking for love, aka Nice Guys, while the other half are simply looking for sex, aka FBoys. Each episode concludes with the ladies eliminating 3 men from the dating pool who must then reveal their secret identity as a Nice Guy or FBoy. Oh, and the winner walks away with a $100,000 prize.

Once eliminated, the FBoys are vanquished to Limbro, a beachy purgatory, where they reflect on their womanizing ways. The Nice Guys get to live it up next door at Nice Guy Grotto.

Will CJ, Sarah, and Nakia find true love with a Nice Guy, or will they get stuck with an FBoy? You’ll have to tune in to find out.

But, if you look closely you will undoubtedly recognize Nice Guy Grotto as our very own Cayman Castle. I mean where else is Prince Charming supposed to reside other than a seaside castle, right?

As Nice Guy Andrew puts it, “Sometimes it pays to be a nice guy”.

Indeed. These Nice Guys might miss out on “love” but they do get to pamper themselves and enjoy the spoils of the Castle: infinity pool, sundeck, oceanfront views, and all. Limbro, the FBoy purgatory, was set up on the Castle’s private beach lot adjacent to the villa.

Limbro & Nice Guy Grotto were shot on location in Grand Cayman at Cayman Castle in East End.

Other filming locations across the island include Rum Point, Cayman Kai, and East End.

This marks the first big streaming production to film and feature Grand Cayman. And, there’s more Hollywood content to come. The island’s profile is rising with 3-4 movies and a TV series coming online soon.

This is all great exposure for the Cayman Islands as it reopens for tourism this fall.

We think you’ll agree, the Cayman scenery looks beautiful on the big screen.
