The Italian Kitchen is one of Grand Cayman’s best restaurants. It’s located in Cayman’s peaceful district of East End across from the Morritts Tortuga Club.
The owners, Audrey and Troy, are great folks, who use fresh ingredients from local farmers and fishermen to create fantastic appetizers and entrees. Sautéed calamari, caprese salad, bruschetta on Tuscan bread, are some of my personal favorites. If you like garlic bread, you MUST order the garlic knots. They will change your life!
Chicken Marsala, Lobster & Shrimp Risotto, Eggplant Parmesan, Seafood Pasta, and Smoked Salmon over Linguini, are a few of their excellent entrees. My children, as well as my extended family, all agree that their brick-oven pizza is better than any pizza you can order in the U.S. No contest!
We will dine at the Italian Kitchen at least once while on the island, but also make it a point to order Italian Kitchen take-out and dine alfresco at our villa one evening.
I should also mention that Audrey and Troy personally select the wines on their wine list. Their labels are reasonably priced and may be ordered by the bottle or the glass.

Good news for our Grand Cayman Villas and Condos guests staying in Cayman Kai – the Italian Kitchen will deliver a limited menu on Thursdays and Saturdays. You must get your order in by 5pm and they will deliver between 6-6:30pm. Special deliveries may be made Tuesday through Sunday for orders over CI$100.00. Unfortunately, during Cayman’s low season, The Italian Kitchen will be closed from September 1-October 15th. I’m counting the days!
