The end of the month is always a good excuse to party, so get down to The Wharf for Boogie Nights! and enjoy an evening of hits from the 70s and 80s live from DJ Chuck. Friday 31st July, 9.30pm-late. Free entry.

Get down and dirty with the Pirates Trail Mud Run, military style 5K off-road obstacle course! There will be food, drinks, music and camaraderie for all participants! Plus random prizes worth $3,000. Compete individually or as teams of four. Saturday 11 July, 7am. Kids 5-12 $15, Teams of 4 $120, individuals $40.

Celebrate Summer Saturdays every week in Camana Bay with fun activities for kids of all ages. Little tykes can chase bubbles as they float by while bigger kids build fortresses with the Imagination Playground, and teens challenge their friends to Jumbo Lawn Games including limbo, connect four, corn hole and more. Then after all that fun in the sun, a dip in the fountain is the perfect way to cool down. Every Saturday June-August 10am-7pm.
Let the kids escape the heat and enjoy a family friendly movie with Summer Cine Club at the National Gallery. July’s sreenings include Spirited Away, ET, The Emperor’s New Groove and Cool Runnings. Every Tuesday 2pm-4pm. Free.
