Plan Your Vacation in Grand Cayman

Ironwood Town Center

Ironwood Town Center-imageIn the works for over 4 years; a new development is coming to the center of Grand Cayman on Frank Sound Road near the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden.

“Ironwood Town Center” will be built in phases over 10 years to include an 18 hole championship golf course; (2) 9 hole “executive” gold courses; a complete retail/office and commercial center as well as hundreds of homes for retirees from the Western Hemisphere as well as Grand Cayman. With the Shetty hospital being built near-by, the theory is that expansion is coming to Cayman and there is a demand for relatively inexpensive homes in Grand Cayman.

We understand that Fosters Food Fair has contracted to purchase a large piece of land in the development for one of their supermarkets and a gas station/convenience store will be built on Frank Sound road as well.

We have contracted to purchase the triangular shaped (.60 acre) land on the proposed traffic circle in order to build a Caribbean-style suite of retail and commercial offices. We will be partners in a (private to villa guests)  Concierge & Guest Services facility  as well as a (public) gift shop, real estate (?) beverage store and potentially a pizza restaurant or food franchise. The proposed east-west bypass will connect Savannah with Frank Sound making the drive from town to Northside 25 minutes instead of 40 minutes. All the traffic going to Rum Point, Cayman Kai, Northside, Old Man Bay and the resorts in East End will all drive by the Ironwood Town Center. It is our hope that this location will be easy to find and convenient to stop by to collect key packages, brochures, villa information and use as a villa guest center. We will be able to accept mailed packages, make dinner, watersports and fishing charter reservations, etc.
