KAIBO YACHT CLUB

Kaibo Yacht Club is a private marina, boating center, restaurant, grill and bar on the protected North Sound (at the bottom of Cayman Kai peninsula). The nicer (evening)  restaurant is upstairs and the more casual bar and daytime restaurant are downstairs with a very casual (even barefoot) feel. The upstairs restaurant is open once or twice weekly (call ahead 947-9975 to find out when) and the grill/bar downstairs is open daily. Their floating dock is also where the Red Sail Sport's 65' Catamaran picks up guests-- as well as the location for the www.caymankayaks.com excursions.  Kaibo ices down all of its beer--and has one of the best mojitos on the island--
